We are thrilled to announce the winning entries for the 2024-2025 edition of the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) International Competition!

This year, we received 234 thought-provoking submissions from 20 countries from passionate young reporters around the globe following the theme of Ecosystem Restoration. 62 entries were shortlisted and sent for final stage to our YRE International Jury. Out of those, 37 entries were selected as winners of the 2024-2025 YRE International competition.

Congratulations to all the winners!

From investigative articles to photos, podcasts, and videos, each entry reflected a strong commitment to environmental storytelling and the drive to create meaningful change for restoring degraded ecosystem, protecting biodiversity, and promoting sustainable practices in the communities. We also received entries from our partners from the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and ASPNet Schools.

POdcasts

30 national podcasts were submitted this year, all have been declared winners and will each receive the Gosia Luszczek Podcasting Award๐Ÿ… These entries will also help the FEE team and the International Jury shape the future criteria for this exciting and popular category.

Thank you all young reporters for your participation, your voice, your vision, and your courage to report on the environmental challenges in Ecosystem Restoration issues!

Congratulations to all our shortlisted finalists!
