UNESCO Youth Forum | YRE Mission

In 2018, the Young ESD Leadership Capacity Building Course / YRE Mission was organised in cooperation between UNESCO and the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) as a contribution to implementing the Global Action Programme (GAP) Action Area 4, "Youth Mobilization and Empowerment". Through this initiative, UNESCO and the GAP Key Partners supported and prepared young ESD leaders to become change agents for sustainable development. The course aimed to empower participants to be inspired by Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and to engage in raising awareness among the general public, encouraging action towards building more sustainable, just and resilient communities.
