Mini Litter Less Campaign Competition 2021
10 days - 7 Actions - 1 Competition
18 -28 October 2021
In 2021, the Litter Less Campaign introduced the Mini Litter Less Campaign, a 10days- campaign global two-week challenge that invited young people from across the FEE network to investigate litter and waste issues in their communities. Participants completed environmental actions, shared their stories through environmental journalism, and used the Treasure Earth app to record and map litter, contributing to a global picture of waste pollution while encouraging local action.

More information about the Campaign
The Mini Litter Less Campaign (#litterlesscampaign) was designed as a 10-day campaign in which seven actions promoting sustainable behaviour change around litter and waste had to be completed. The actions were easy to fulfil, short, and adaptable to any context (e.g. as a lesson in school or an activity in a youth group meeting). Participants were generally recommended to complete one action per day; however, teachers and youth leaders could freely adapt the number of actions completed per day to suit the context in which they worked. Participants received a certificate after completing all seven actions, including two surveys.
The campaign took place both on the Treasure Earth app and on social media.
